The commendation was contained in a release personally signed by its President, Aare Oladotun Hassan, Esq and made available to naijatodaynews.com.

“This evil perpetrators of these excessive criminal acts of banditory were unraveled and confronted with a well succinctly marshaled intelligence, active surveillance and concrete information in Kishi, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Oyo State, and with a continuous move to checkmate similar excesses in other hinterlands within the suburbs of Yoruba Land”.

“We are moved to tears to raise our voices and supports towards these rear unparalleled landmarks of bravery and unimpeachable confidence that was displayed on 23rd till early hours of 24th September, 2020 by combing the thick forests and creeks infested with local bandits and foreign terrorists whose sole aim is to cause unmitigated harmful mayhem and unimaginable proportions of destructions in Nigeria”.

“We equally salute the ‘Omoluabi’ resilience and indefatigable commitments of Governor Seyi Makinde towards ensuring adequate security of lives and properties of the good citizens of Oyo State”.

“His Excellency has indeed proven beyond reasonable doubt the Yoruba’s unequalled nostalgic native intelligence in handling of any situation, while using this medium to call on all critical stakeholders to rise and join these positive moves, because the battle is not yet over, while similar exercise is most needful in other parts of Yoruba Lands like Ijebu Ode, Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Ilesha Osun State, parts of Kogi,Kwara, Benin Ore and by extension Nigeria as a whole”.

“This indeed proves that we are not totally save in our land, hence the need to for the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Federal Government and 36 State Governors must jointly take the issue of security more seriously , culminating with the resolutions of the Council on the rising spate of insecurity, rape, killings and other wanton crimes in the land that led to the earlier issuance of seven(7) days eviction notice to all Fulani killer herdsmen in Yoruba Land, held in Ibadan on 29th of June, 2018; Yoruba Security, Peace and Development Summit tagged: “Operation F’olumo” (Operation Sweep Our Land Clean), and alongside other aggregated held security summits which inevitably gave birth to “Operation Amotekun”.

“It is most disheartening that we find ourselves in this quagmire of abject servitudes and sufferings, while we take solace in our innermost Omoluabi thoughts, wisdom and desire for a greater, peaceful, economically independent and developed Yoruba nation”.

“Also, we remain passionately undeterred to salvaging our lands with every drop of blood in us”.

“We use this medium to call other Governors and leaders in the Southwest to rally supports for the Chief Sunday Igboho led team with more moral, financial and intelligence sharing and gathering cum motivated supports via provisions of sophisticated weaponry and advance technology security drones, so as to maximally confront to wit; strengths for strengths and myths for myths against this dreaded mafias”.

“We are eqaully using this medium to call for the urgent simultaneous hosting of “A Regional Security Summits in Nigeria in all the six geopolitical zones, which will inevitably crystalize into the hosting of the National Security Summit before the 2023 general elections, for this will be the only saving grace to ensure Peace and instill total confidence, trust and build unending harmony in the country, and consequently avert any anticipated disasters from the terrorist groups”, Hassan concluded
